Capture the Packet (CTP) is a hands-on network analysis and troubleshooting course designed to teach participants how to capture, inspect, and interpret network traffic. Using industry-standard packet analysis tools, learners will gain practical experience in identifying network issues, analyzing protocols, and understanding how data flows across modern networks.
Throughout the course, participants will work with real-world network captures and learn how to investigate connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, security incidents, and protocol behavior. The training combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises to develop essential troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Philip Schaller is an independent network consultant with more than 20 years of experience working with major international clients. He is a certified Cisco CCIE #46003, Huawei HCIE #8453 and official HCIE Huawei Certified System Instructor (HCSI). In addition to his work as a consultant, he founded the learning platform Netcamp and continues to develop it.
As a certified instructor, he teaches courses all over the world and has helped many of his students launch successful careers in the IT networking industry.
