If the DHCP is not in the same network, then the DHCP Discover and Request must be forwarded via DHCP Relay (Cisco calls it IP-Helper). The easiest way is described here.
The configuration of the DHCP relay or IP helper is very simple. The most important point, which is usually forgotten, is the activation of the DHCP service. Although the router does not act as a DHCP server (only as DHCP relay), the DHCP service must be started (by the way this is the same for Cisco). The required IP addresses of the DHCP servers can then be configured on the interface.
